Will it remind me of meetings I didn't create with Jacko?

Yes, if you ask: "remind me of my meetings 30 minutes before". From then on it also covers the ones you add straight to your calendar.

Can it change my calendar without asking?

No. Before creating, moving or cancelling it tells you what it will do, and your times are always in your time zone.
