PRODUCT FACTS

What is Jacko?

Jacko is a personal finance assistant that understands your money and what matters to you. It connects to the places your money already shows up: your bank's emails, statements, receipts, Apple Pay, and the chats you use every day.

There's nothing new to learn. No app to open, no forms to fill. You text it on WhatsApp, Telegram or the web, the same way you'd text a person: a message, a voice note, a photo of a receipt.

Jacko handles the small, everyday work of your money. It logs what you spend, remembers what you told it, keeps track of what repeats and what you owe, and writes to you first when something needs your attention: a payment due tomorrow, a budget running out, a subscription you stopped using. It used to be called Chanchito.

Frequently asked questions

How do I log an expense?

Tell Jacko the way you'd tell a person: “lunch 25”. A voice note or a photo of the receipt works too. Jacko logs it, picks the category and confirms in the same chat. No forms.

Do I have to connect my bank?

No, and today you can't: Jacko doesn't connect to bank accounts yet. Open Finance is on the way. Meanwhile you can connect your email, and every transaction alert your bank sends gets logged on its own.

Where can I talk to Jacko?

On WhatsApp, Telegram or the web, and it's the same Jacko with the same memory in all three. The exception is Brazil and Indonesia, where Meta restricts business messages: there you use Telegram or the web.

Is it free?

No. The first 3 days are free, with no card and all of Premium open. Then you pick a plan: Lite from $3.99 a month or Premium from $9.99. There is no permanent free plan. Automatic capture, connecting your email so transactions log themselves, starts at Lite. Prices are the same in every country.

Which countries does it work in?

Twenty-two countries across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Plans cost the same everywhere and billing is always in US dollars. What does change is the currency of your own transactions, which are recorded in your country's.

How is it different from a budgeting app?

A budgeting app makes you do the work: open it, pick a category, fill in fields. That's why most people quit within two weeks. With Jacko you just talk, in a chat you already have open, and Jacko does the rest.

How is it different from asking ChatGPT?

ChatGPT doesn't know your money. Jacko keeps your financial context: what you earn, what you spend, what you owe and what you're saving for. So when you ask “can I afford this?”, the answer is about you, not a generic rule.

Was it called Chanchito before?

Yes. Chanchito is now Jacko. Same product, same accounts, same history; the old domain redirects to the new one.

What Jacko doesn't do

  • It doesn't move money: no transfers, no payments, no charges.
  • It doesn't connect to your bank yet. Open Finance is on the way.
  • It doesn't do bookkeeping or issue invoices.
  • It has no shared accounts: each person uses their own.
