6. Third-Party AI Services

Jackito uses the OpenAI API as a third-party artificial intelligence service provider.

When a user connects an email account — including a Gmail account — or forwards email to their capture address, Jackito may process relevant email content and metadata through the OpenAI API to identify and organize financial information, including receipts, invoices, payment notifications, subscriptions, and transaction-related information, in order to provide features requested by the user.

Jackito only transfers to OpenAI the information necessary to provide the requested functionality. OpenAI states that, by default, inputs and outputs submitted through its API are not used to train or improve its models unless the customer explicitly opts in to data sharing. Jackito does not opt in, and does not authorize OpenAI to use data received through Jackito for generalized model training or for purposes unrelated to providing the requested service.

In addition:

• Jackito does not use Google user data to train, develop, or improve generalized or foundational artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
• Google user data is not sold and is not used for advertising purposes.
• Gmail access is requested with read-only permission and is handled through Nylas, our email integration provider. Jackito cannot send, reply to, modify or delete email.
• Only messages matching predefined financial filters are consulted. From those messages only the transaction data is extracted, and the message content is discarded after processing: it is not stored.

7. Google User Data Limited Use

The use of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Jackito's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Data Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the described purposes or as required by applicable Peruvian law.

According to the Personal Data Protection Law of Peru, you have the right to:
