Terms and Conditions

The rules of the service: what we offer, what we expect from you, and how plans and pricing work.

1. Company Information

These terms and conditions govern the use of Jackito App, developed by:

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using Jackito App, you accept these terms and conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use our services.

3. Service Description

Jackito App is a personal financial management application that allows users to record, categorize, and analyze their income, expenses, budgets, and financial goals through an intuitive interface and artificial intelligence functions.

4. User Account

To use our services, you must create an account providing truthful and updated information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials.

5. Subscription and Payments

Jackito App offers paid subscription plans. Payments are processed securely and specific billing terms are detailed at the time of contracting.

Changes to plans and pricing. We may create, modify, rename or discontinue plans, adjust their prices and change which features each one includes, including the limits of the free plan. When that happens we will notify you in advance through the application or by email.

A price change never affects a period you have already paid for: it applies from your next renewal. If you do not agree with the new price, you may cancel before that date and keep using the plan until the paid period ends.

Changes apply only if you choose to continue. Renewing your subscription after we have notified you means you accept the new price and conditions. If you do not accept them, you cancel before the renewal date and you are not charged: you keep the plan until the period you already paid for ends.

Discontinued and legacy plans. If we stop offering a plan you are using, or replace it with another one, we will notify you in advance and you will be able to keep using it until your paid period ends. When it expires, you decide whether to continue with the new or equivalent plan at its current price or move to the free plan; we never move you to a more expensive plan without your acceptance. If we keep the conditions or price of a previous plan for those who already had it, that is an exception we may end with advance notice, under the same rules as this section.

Promotional prices, discounts and limited-time offers are temporary: unless we state otherwise, they do not extend automatically and renewal happens at the plan's current price. If you cancel, you return to the free plan and your information is kept.

6. Permitted Use

You agree to use the application only for the management of your personal finances and in a legal manner, without interfering with the operation of the service.

7. Security and Data Protection

Jackito App uses state-of-the-art security technology:

  • AES-256 encryption for all stored data
  • TLS 1.3 protocol for secure communication
  • Multi-factor authentication and secure access tokens
  • Continuous monitoring against threats and vulnerabilities
  • Automatic backup and disaster recovery

8. Connecting your email

You may connect your email account so that Jackito automatically records the transactions your bank notifies you about. It is optional: the application works without it.

  • Authorization happens on your email provider's own screen. Jackito never receives or stores your password.
  • The permission requested is read-only. Jackito cannot send, reply to, modify or delete email.
  • Only messages matching financial filters are consulted — alerts and receipts from banks and merchants. The rest of your inbox is not processed.
  • From those messages only the transaction data is extracted: merchant, amount, currency, date and payment method. The email content is not stored.
  • You can disconnect the account whenever you want, from Integrations. Doing so revokes access and we stop reading that inbox; transactions already recorded are kept, because they are your data.

There is a second option, forwarding, and it works the other way around: we give you an address of your own and you decide what to send to it, from your email client or with a forwarding rule. In that case Jackito does not access your inbox and receives no permission over your account: it only processes the messages that arrive at that address. The same rules apply as to what is extracted and what is not stored, and you can disable the address whenever you want, from Integrations.

By connecting your email account or setting up forwarding you accept this processing on the terms described above.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights over Jackito App belong to Lima Research. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

Lima Research is not responsible for financial decisions made based on the information provided by the application. The user is responsible for verifying the accuracy of their data.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Modifications will be notified through the application.

12. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by Peruvian law. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Lima, Peru.
